I am in the market for a timing light.

I have searched for several and the equus brand seems good but am not sure of the quality or what the descriptions truly mean.

Cost is an issue. A true DIY'er here.

I want an inductive type.
I would also like it to give me rpm reading and show the timing adv or retard on lcd screen. Some have alternator volts and battery volts.

I have heard about some that have a dial for relative timing also, but not sure what that means.
I want to make this my last timing light purchase. The last one I had was the non-inductive style and it was a PIA to use.

Looking for best bang for the buck item.
Amazon.com has a better than most selection.

TIA
steve
