Need Steering Column bottom cover trim for my 1974 3.0CS

Hi, I do not have the part(s), but i think that you may get better answers if we figure out which part you're after.
There are 2 parts that you may mean, and both come in two versions. So you 've got a 25% chance of getting the right part....
Are you looking for the metal +vinyl lower trim cover, to which your knees butt up?
of which also a version exists with a larger opening in case you have the up/down adjustable steering column:
or are you looking for the metal underside of the column:
of which also a plastic version exists in case you have the adjustable steering column:
Reason is that there are 2 versions of the steering column: standard and one version for a height adjustable steering column. The height adjustable column one is sometimes installed as an upgrade.
Which version are you after; std or optional height adjustment?

Thank you. Not sure, but I believe that I need the plastic cover in your picture and possibly the
optional steering column height adjustment one. as well. My car is at the upholsteror, so I can't check, but am OK with buying both. How much do you want for both? Thank you

ETK shows part # 32 31 1 152 991 for 1974 USA 3.0CS
Number that appears on this part ends in 990. It is not unusual to find differences between number on part and number in parts book.
Erik's picture shows what looks like a differently textured (metal?) cover; this one is plastic.

Pictures I posted are top/bottom views of same part and I am fine with sending it.
Maybe you can get upholstery shop to send you pictures of what is in the car to make sure.
Posting those pictures will bring collective insight and identification to your quest.

This cover is for E28, will not fit for E9.

But asking for both doesn't make sense, since as Erik already explained the plastic one is for adjustable and the short one for fixed steering column. So better take your time and sort out what is installed in your car.

Thomas is correct. i have both versions of the adjustable lower piece ... the e9 and the e24 (they are different). i also have the e24 adjustable steering column if anybody needs one of those (with the lower piece).
