I tried to remove the steering wheel today (for easier shipping) but didn't get it. Maybe later.

The ash trays, window cranks and door openers look very much like an E3. I wonder if those parts were carried over to the E3?

Yes, they were used in NK and e3. And some parts also in 2002, e9, e12
