Tiny one at that.

1999 Mini Cooper 40th anniversary Edition.

1995 1.6L SOHC VTEC Honda motor completely rebuilt
5-speed
Vintage Air A/C added
Leather seats, blah blah blah.

Thing is a blast! I barely fit, but I do. I bought an extended shifter (Fastline; not in current pics), but that interferes w/the exhaust, so I'm getting new exhaust built for it.

I added these wheels and a new, old-style grille.

Sure is a head-turner; 'specially w/the kids. Definitely a diff driving experience than the E9.

Wow when you told me you picked this up you didn’t mention it was a ‘99! Those extra wide minilite wheels look great! It looks like the world’s smallest hearse. :D

Well...technically it's a "1978", but we all know how these VINs on these MINIs gets changed to get legally imported to the USA.

Originally imported from the Netherlands. So that's why it's LHD (thank goodness!).

ahh, my very first car was an Austin Mini Countryman. Wood on the side that I could refurbish. Fit me and several others if we had partied long enough. Fond memories. :) Graduated to the '67 Mini Cooper Saloon. Drove it like I was in "the Italian Job"! More fond memories. Very efficient use of space, and as I always said to passengers, " Relax, if we spin out, we are still in the same lane!"
