Hi,
I always had a soft spot for BMWs. I own a e36 M3 and a e24 635csi and recently got a 1974 3.0 CS.
It's in it's original Polaris color, 4 speed manual.
After rebuilding the drive shaft, brakes, carburetor and few other things the car is back on the road.
After spending time in checking rust issues, it seems there is minimum rust in it.
I'm planning to restore it soon to have an extra 40 years on the road.
I'll probably need y'alls help to get the best tricks & tips to succeed in this project.
Stephane.

welcome to the group. Using the search function you will be able to find a tremendous amount of information on just about any E9 related topic. Board members are always willing to share their knowledge and experience.

Please take a moment to register your coupe by clicking on "CS Registry" on the black bar, above.

If you happen to run across any coupes in a salvage yard, likewise register them as "gone forever"

We have documented over 2000 coupes.

Best

Stan

Welcome Stephane
Cars with sunroofs have the problem of rust in the rockers because they routed the drain inside of the car and the rocker covers hide it.
