hey guys, i tried to order a new CSi badge from getbmwparts ... and they wouldn't sell me one. anybody have the ability to buy a new one? getbmwparts price was 88 bucks. ecstuning lists if for 87 bucks, i just don't want to go there.

with the new engine and paint, i want to do a 3.5 CSi badge. since ceylon was not available for a 2800cs, i hate to put a new 2800cs badge on the car.

Check with Ingo (goes by Arnie on this web site). He may have one, or if he doesn't, might make one. I have one he made, and it is perfect.

don't think there is a reason to make one while they are still available. the good news is i have new '2800' / '3.0' and Ingo's '3.5' badges. i have the new 'c + s' for the 2800 and a new 'CS'. i have an old CSi badge that i could have polished if needed. i appreciate the info on Roger, always forget about him.
 
totally aware of that Chris ... but its a good reminder, thanks. the other problem is that Roger's shipping costs border on ridiculous.
 
I could probably get one and ship it over to you for cost if eBay doesn't turn anything up for you
