just a note to say we are very close now to having a full new dashboard set available for sale for the E9 in both LHD and RHD
the image below shows a a few test pieces (the light coloured pieces are new) we have made these at my bespoke furniture buisness here in London and we have sucessfully made 2 prototypes one left one right and they are now being veneered one original and one in eucalyptus to show what we can do
the image shows the base plate, speaker grille section, speaker grille, lower "shifter plate" and formers (male/female) for the door trim front and back 4 pieces, not shown is the grab rail which we have now done with all curves and profile 100% correct and matching original
we will be able to offer these in any... yes... any veneer from walnut to banana to santos rosewood to white ebony literally anything you can imagine even an italian dyed grey maple burr (very unusual!!) and spray finished in polyurethane from matt to high gloss burnished 100% finish
to be clear these will be new pieces new cores and new veneer
pricing.....
we are working on a parts website now as we are also offering all interior panels and we are now testing some carbon fibre skins (boot/bonnet/door and body kits soon) so it will all become clearer very soon
as for the interior wood for now..... just available as a full set (every dashboard piece and door trim, all interior wood pieces) and split into 3 veneer bands
