Gentleman, I wanted to introduce myself as a new addition to the board. I live in Tucson, AZ and while I'm new to E9 ownership I am a big BMW fan, having owned many different models in the past.

In addition to the E9 I currently have an E30 M3 and possibly the cleanest, most original 1980 320i in the U.S.(I've linked to some pics below). All of you are already familiar with my E9 as it belonged to another board member (ATAN) and goes by the name JabberJaw. I also have some other fun cars outside of my BMW's.

I don't have much to add in the way of expertise and anticipate learning a great deal from all of you. Thanks again for letting me be a part of this community.

Welcome!

That's a very nice original .... assembly paint marks.... stamps...... nice.

Jabberjaw! Wow! What else can be said?

But you hinted of more.......

Welcome! That means you've taken ownership of Alvin's fabulous 3.5CSi. WOW and congratulations!!!

Thanks so much I may move the 320 to pick up concourse level 2002 Turbo in Oct!

Yes, Alvins coupe is all it's cracked up to be. Very little for me to "perfect" so I'm just enjoying it as much as possible.

Also have 1967 Corvette (small block) undergoing complete restoration, 2005 Ford GT and some misc. motorcycles, one of which wears the roundel (2007GS Adventure)

yes nice 320i, but let's see the coupe!

In case you haven't see the coupe already here's a link:

Don

Hi Don, I appreciate welcome and will certainly keep in contact. The car is going in for an oil leak in the front right (am not certain as to its origin) and a few nit upholstery repairs.

Nice Toys! Love the plate on the Ford GT (750RWHP)!

Thanks and that plate is accurate  (Actually it's 772 but who's counting)

Check the AC compressor for the leak- Alvin had me install a used AC compressor and I believe it had a small leak of PAG oil. Look for a yellowish-green leak on the top of the compressor

Don

That head was provided by T.Conners via T. Tinney- fully redone, port matched head that was meant for Terry's CSL. You can reach Terry on this site as srennoc.
I am heading back to the mainland today so unreachable til tomorrow.

Thanks Don! I'll check it out.
