Hi my name is Tim and I just purchased a few months ago an all original 74CSA with 130K including tool kit complete with red handle screw drivers
and the original window sticker from Luguna BMW in mechanic books in the trunk!I wasn't sure I would be buying this because I had to sell my 73tii that I had in the family for 15 years and my wife said I had to sell that 1st before I could purchase this one, I found this CS on Craiglist and it has always been my Dream Car so I wanted to see what condition
the car was in before I made a offer. He was selling it for a friend and
was asking 7500.00 but made the guy a offer of 4500.00 not knowing how original this car really was and he took my offer! So I went ahead and
made the purchase for that price thinking it was a OK dealbut now looking back I stoled this car and yes I still had to sell the tii and hoping my wife would say OK you can keep the tii NOT!(finally sold a week ago)After looking on the web with the letters BMW e9 I found my new world of e9 lovers and I am sure there is the same for tii I just didn't find it?
We'll that is my story and I am so glad I made the switch and hoping to find the few parts I need to make the car complete(fits real nice in the family too!My boys know now way I wanted to make the change 19yrs&15yrs old) Thanks for your time and look forward to any and all comments, Tim.

If your car is mostly rust free that was a steal. I paid more for a rust free 74 CSA with a seized motor.

If you buy these cars becuase you love them price shouldn't matter. Provided you buy within your means.

These are great cars. Fun to drive, straight forward mechanically and they look great.

Welcome to the club.

Welcome!

I think there's a polaris (silver) Coupe running around in Reno somewhere.

Enjoy the extra cylinders and presence.

New Owner--watch for Steve in Reno

Welcome aboard--you will undoubtedly come across Steve here on the message board--He's from your community--is a long term owner of his E-9 and seems very dedicated and knowledgable about his car--as well as a "hands on type" of owner
