BTZ461 in Christchurch New Zealand. First CSL 1973 with 6000 miles in Verona Red. Full batmobile spec, purchased from BMW ParkLane circa 1979. First owned by BMW UK it did the circuit around the UK dealer network. Sold to a charming gentleman, Victor Gauntlett.
Then one error compounded another.. a white one slid into the garage....big mistake, rotten as a peach. Rust surely loved to hide in those Karmann bodies.
Thanks for reading, happy to contribute on a broad and diverse range of topics, but please, no politics.

Is the Verona RHD? If so BATs only came in LHD at the end of the production run. @Keshav will chime in but think the BATs also run a 3.5L motor. Only RHD CSLs are the 500 City cars. Lots of knowledge and great people on here. Welcome aboard.

Yes RHD. Totally standard car, with the wings etc added in UK. It was a demo car and travelled within the dealer network. Ohhh, your one of those Tasmanian chaps, hi Wes.

Outed! Got your rear quarter sorted yet :)

If a UK dealer car suspect would be in the first 250 vins. Does it have manual front windows?

Yes, it did. Victor was a well known gentleman, in a Biggles style, loved fast cars, preferably British, so much so he bought Aston Martin. The car will be known in the UK still, I'm sure.

Yes I can....this car 2285001 ( IIRC...) sat in our showroom at Cronk BMW for several months must have been mid to late 1970`s.... period before being sold to Australia. Dont remember it having spoilers on it at that time though....

Yes, we bought it from BMW Park Lane. For not much money. Oddly this car is described in one of the forums here as having Csi seats and a sunroof. Do not recall the roof at all, and the seats were the Scheel OE seats, as we had a (very rusty) white one at the same time. Later in the early 80's a P reg polaris full BAT too. Sold to either Graeme Cook (Romans of Woking) or Willie Loughran. It was a very low mile proper car too.
