guys,

our friend @alprada70 has made another perfect product. he has remade the black fender grille blind and it fits perfectly! i originally bought the ones from Coupeking, and perhaps it was just that they were old ... they tore when i tried to get it off of the backing. Alvaro is using a slightly different vinyl, it feels stronger, has a great look - not too shiny / not too matte.

the first picture is from straight on, the 2nd one is from below and the 3rd one is from above. it takes a little bit to get them aligned properly - you want to be about 1/4" below the center of the bottom holes and that will make them about the same distance above the top holes. just set them in place + don't press down until you are properly centered as well as in a good place horizontally.

Finally! I have seen so many coupes with the body color visible through the grille, Everybody thinks I’m crazy when I point out the discrepancy. I hope these catch on with the 100 points crowd…

I made my own too. They are a must have. I light car with body color showing through the grills just looks silly.

for the small amount of money - order from Alvaro and you will have them the next week, and they are perfect. your time is valuable. the product is great

lets see - 52.5% TARIFF PLUS 49 euro shipping, plus UPS brokerage fee - that 18 euro will cost you about 79 euro. be my guest, but you will get Alvaro's quicker + much cheaper. now if you want to pay / give UPS a bunch of money ... go ahead.

For those with chrome fender/ hood grills:
The original fender grills had the connectors (for lack of a better word) in black thus lending the grill a floating look. Easily done……

i kind of like the chrome brackets showing - its very honest. real grilles have visible structure somewhere. in the shadows you kind of see it, but i think its okay. if you want to do them black, i am sure Alvaro could provide some strips of vinyl to do it, rather than trying to get paint in there without hitting the chrome.
