Hello, I just bought 1974 3.0CS. It was a barn find. It has been parked in a garage in Oklahoma for at least 27yrs. The engine is in good shape, new headers & dual Weber’s. No rust as far as I can tell. I will be needing a source for parts. Right now I’m looking for a new clutch master cylinder. Looking forward for any advice.

Making progress. We Replaced the brake master cylinder, we had the calipers rebuilt in GA., rebuilt the clutch master cylinder & replaced the slave cylinder

So the E9 is running & we drove on the road. Engine, Gearbox & differential are good & drives surprisingly good.
We are now working on the interior & we need to replace or rebuild passenger window motor.
Does anyone have a source for this?
Thank you
Mangomike

Happy to see that you've made such progress so far! It's always exciting and somewhat terrifying going for that first drive. As for the window motors, they're all pretty darn slow, even when in good condition. If it does need to be replaced, a window motor from an E28 seems to be the tried-and-true option that is still somewhat available in terms of used parts. There is a member who is currently retrofitting/testing Porsche 911 window motors as well. Be sure to reference the FAQ thread for new and used part sources! It is very handy. There are also some used E28 motors for sale at the moment from members here if you search the classifieds.

Welcome!

Cool period correct two tone color!

For vendors of parts, do check the list in the FAQ section. There is quite a bunch of US suppliers in the list.

In germany, Walloth and Neesch will be your friend, and enemy of your wallet.

Happy couping!
