New Sub Section of The Site?

There have been several articles written by owners about our coupes.
Often they chronicle restoration or an event of some sort. Would it make sense to collect them and store them on this site?

an 'option' section

Have an idea, since my coupe project started, I have 'gathered' images of various 'examples and options'. How about image reference galleries that have examples of various options:

- wheels (mfgs of 14,15,16s)
- interiors (leather, velour, race set-ups)
- motors (and induction set-ups?)
- colors
- period stereos (becker and blaupunkt, ipod options)
- steering wheels
- odd stuff (anteia and mirror placements, rear fog lite ...etc

I think the faq2002 board has something similar (for wheels). I'm sure many here might find it useful and it could spare us from duplicate/re-occurring posts.

Shannon- that's a very good idea.

It would probably eliminate a lot of redunant questions on the General Dicussion forum.

I like Shanon's idea too.
Sort of FAQs for E9 in addition to FAQs about working the site.
A newbie can search that area and then if questions remain, start over.
We have such a wealth of information in here; "what is my coupe worth" "how do I select a coupe" "how do I refinsh the wood" etc etc etc.

The other section would be a collection of stories; Paul Cain's 3.8 CS webpage, Tod from MA story in the Boston Bimmer, Duane Sword's story about his Alpina, if we are really lucky, the article in Bimmer from 10 years ago chronicling Cary Aida (sp) resporation of the CSL. It was that story and the one about Paul's coupe that really sent me over the top to start my search for a CS!!! I bet many lurkers and newbies would love it!
