My name is Doug.
If you count reading the classifieds as partial membership, I`ve been a member forever. I finally took the leap and purchsed a `73 CS ( It`s a before picture. ). I`ll be purchasing a couple of parts cars sometime over the next week or so.
The plan is to take it down to bare metal and update it with a more modern BMW engine and convert it from auto to manual.
I keep hearing about using a 3.5 engine. Any opinions? Recommendations?
Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself.
