So what makes it an Alpina?

It merely has some Alpina gear on it. Only verified papers would tell of any true Alpina heritage. The sticker is about as cool as it gets, though.

In the US, one could buy Alpina gear from Hardy&Beck, or Miller Norburn and put it on your car... it didn't make it an "Alpina car".

Still...very cool
