Nice 900 mile trip over two days

Started yesterday late afternoon in southern Sweden. Spent the night in Celle in northern Germany, and got to Villars in Switzerland in time for dinner. Sundays are the best days in Germany with no trucks and very few buses.
A soft 170 KM/106 MPH at 4000 was about as fast as I drove, but only on a handful of stretches. This particular car runs very well with its 245 HP 3.5L engine and has the 3.25 LSD and OD box, plus all the other upgrades that make it similar to my wifes new Audi in many respects, drivingwise.
Will drive another E9 the other way on Wednesday-Thursday, but that car has a 3.64 and ZF OD box, and much more power. I will wear ear protection.... Redline is at 7300.
Cool and pretty cars which always attract positive attention.

Very nice! Just the right way of driving

I drove from Huskvarna to Regensburg in my 3.0S some years ago. I think I left in the morning and got there at 9 pm incl a 2h break for food just north of Hamburg. (1300 km / 800 mls) that was a great drive too!

900 miles today, going back

My 365 HP/420Nm torque "group2" Taiga "CSL" needed to go back to Sweden, so I drove that one today. 14hrs of which I had a wonderful 2hr stretch between Frankfurt and Göttingen, on a pretty calm Autobahn. It is very hilly and has some broad stretches of 3 lanes, and lots of modern Audis, BMWs and Mercedes all chasing each other. 90-130 MPH the whole time. My hands were not dry when I pulled over for petrol (102 octane with no ethanol dilution. The 10:1 CR Engine likes that) !!
