Nicest e9 bhcc ever has attempted to sell

It's just BHCC name conjures up thoughts like someone running like hell as if you are being chased by a bear screaming out of the woods! With nobody to cap in the kneecaps with a large stick so you can outrun it!

GB, could you explain your comment above?
Beverly Hills Car Club is known for selling very questionable cars. In other words, if you see one for sale from them, no matter what it looks like, run the other way.....as fast as you can. At the very least, if you think you have to buy one from them, no matter what, go see it in person and for sure get a PPI. If not, buyer beware, good luck. Most people on this board know all about them and don't need to be warned, but for those that aren't aware, always good to let them know to "stay frosty." Their name makes it sound like it's a much better quality dealership than it is. And if I recall the dealership is nowhere near Beverly Hills. Like hopefully you have a CCW Lic. for that part of L.A.

My comment was just more of my bad humor assuming the audience was aware of BHCC. Add "getting chased by a bear and bees." Ok, I'll stop.

Any 30-40k E9 is going to have issues. BHCC has a history of offering some low end collector cars like these. The question is, does BHCC also have a history of misrepresenting their cars to potential buyers or are they priced correctly for their condition and the market. In any case, the advice for an in person inspection or PPI from a trusted source is spot on.

From most of the comments and people I've talked to over the years, both online and in person experiences, I think it is a combo of both. Low end, but also some bait and switch, misrepresentation going on. Are they currently trying to improve that image, is there new ownership, are they just taking better pictures of better cars, I don't know? But all I'm saying is watch out. The reputation was so bad that ANY car represented by them I'd just laugh and hit the skip button and move on. But maybe someone on here has had a great experience with them? I have a feeling that could be a mile long stand alone thread, peoples experiences with BHCC, in person or whatever. If someone else wants to start that thread, be my guest. At the very least it will be entertaining.

This car does look like a good car !
I think the price is fair, especially if you want to get into the E9 scene right now.
My guess is that it should sell pretty fast.

More and slightly larger photos on their website. The car doesn't show as well. What's going on at the 10 o'clock area of the spare tire well?

GB, agree completely. I have laughed at them and their cars and their name for years. I too miss the cracked concrete floor. Probably caused by a level 2 earth quake. To me their name connotes an open lot in a sketchy part of town with colored plastic banners waving in the breeze. Sales room is an abandoned mobile home, desks lined up along one wall. Their mantra, "What will it take to get you into this car today?"

Definitely looks like a wrinkle and not rust related.
yes the rust and wrinkle are 2 different things, I was wondering what dang was referring to, I was guessing the wrinkle, and for sure some sort of 'bump'
