Here is the `69 2000 sedan I purchased from Rey R, lots of money was spent on a very solid car including lots of NOS parts. I need to do some exhaust work and probably front suspension and brakes. It already has a 5-speed so highway cruising will be nice. I bought a set of black plates for it and will start the tidying process shortly.

Converted to euro headlights and rare FPS wheels and lugs too.

Congrats

What a great find, I know this beauty will be up to your coupe specs very soon!

You know, you've got quite the "fleet" there...imagine walking to your garage and having to pick - daily - which of your Bimmer's you'll drive....lol...

I thought it would be the manilla NK at Jeff T's shop

This one seem nicer!
Another fun toy, yay!
Is the suspension nice and tight? Luis changed all the bushings on his NK and it drives amazingly well for a car of that vintage.
Congrats!!!

Stan,

Yes, much nicer than the one you saw. Tires are so old I can't tell how it rides, that will be my first purchase. I think most of front suspension is new but I need to verify. Engine bay will need some love, Paul already thinks it needs the original side draft TI carbs and air cleaner which also means replacing booster and mount which is part of pedal box. A slippery slope but very cool. Fortunately I have a source for most of these bits.

Chris,

i think you need to stuff an s14 engine into it. could be a true sleeper.
car looks good !!!

Chris,

i know that Werner (isseta guy) has some NOS nk parts. might drop him a line to ask what he has

Really like this purchase Chris.Congratulations! I thought about buying a nice Blue one I saw on BAT a couple of years ago. This one looks like it's almost done. What tires are you thinking of putting on it?

Scott, Rey the seller has a 2000 with an S14 in as we speak, its a true sleeper. Aware of Werner, thanks.

Bob, This is the one on BaT summer 2010, two were featured, it was in Seattle.

Chris: Welcome to NK ownership; nice one! Love those wheels.

I see an electric fan in front of the radiator, was the mechanical fan removed or it supplements it?

It was removed, it will be replaced soon! After it gets some new tires. It has 195/65-14s on it, might try a 195/70-14, I think 205/60 is too big. Thoughts?

nice NK Chris! I really like the Euro Square lights, wish I can find one as nice locally

I reckon the current Diameter of the wheel looks just right, but I will probably go for wider tires (205) or wider alloys, but then the current set of alloys look great too. decision decision.....

Thanks. The wheels are FPS 14x6 Tii wheels which were a dealer option. The door panels, grilles, steering wheel and other bits were upgraded to Tii spec also.

I think 195's would be the right look, 205's too big for this style car. Awesome find.
