NLA chrome rocker switch

The 5-pin chrome rocker switch 61311356006 for my 1974 is no longer available.

Has anyone had any luck replacing the chrome trim with one from a similar looking Bosch 4-pin switch from a Mercedes as pictured below?

i was lucky, i use the earlier version and just bought 4 new ones on ebay for 35 bucks each. i think the covers are slightly different. i will look to see if i still have any - as i remember, its the same switch for the e12 and the late e3.
