Between that guy and bbbbbbbeeeeeeeaaaaaammmmmmmmmrrrrrrzzzzzzz trading on La Jolla’s name, not off to a great start. I didn’t mention the repair work in 2017 listing as a bad thing just that it went into detail about what was done rather than supposing the car had been repainted.

He’s a child. I bought my first coupe before he was born.
I saw the car in person today. It’s solid.

Not sure why it looks so much better now than in 2018.

But I think for $85k it's decent.

Still a lot of money for what could amount to a lot of lipstick.

How do you feel about your clear and legible photos versus "golden hour and poodles" shots now? Sorry, couldn't resist.
For me it's about sleeping well at night knowing you have represented the car to its truthful potential - versus putting a fluff job on it and letting the 'buyer beware'.

Easy choice for me.

Many years ago - I sold an old Mercedes diesel (300SD). It had almost 300k on it and while it was in decent shape - it was no spring chicken.
I represented the car to the best extent possible (both the good and the bad) and received a very decent price for it.
The new owner received the car with a fresh wash job and full tank of fuel.

A couple of years after the sale - I found a key to the car in my kitchen 'junk drawer'.
Even back then (mid 90's) - new Mercedes' keys were pushing $100 and had to be obtained from the dealer.
I mailed the key to the buyer and received a wonderful note back. He closed the letter asked me when I was going to sell him his next car.

IMO Integrity is what it's about. From there - Everyone stands to their own values.

@lip277 that is so true. i don't want to sell a car to an individual that i wouldn't want to buy. the only cars that i have sold that were questionable (in my mind), i traded in to a dealer and let them know my concerns, so they could fix them.
