NMNA and we'll skip the rear quarter jokes. M90 with a close ratio.

You are correct, Markos. A friend forwarded the link and described it as an early car. I didn't fact check the ad before throwing it up on here. A stroked Motronic motor for sure.

Unlikely to be an M90... those ended in 1982. The 5-speed will be an overdrive box and these do not have a mechanical speedo drive. I speak from experience because I just parted out a 1985 635 :)

A nice find. That is a m30b34 engine with piano top Pistons -10:1 compression.
218 hp
Can have either the OD or the sport tranny which both fit into our coupes with the addition of the speedo gears.
Well worth the money especially if it is the 265/5 box.
Sport tranny was available in Europe-

TRANSMISSION 265/5.45-HZ
09/1984 to 06/1987

Thanks for the info Don. Will it also have a "dirty can" since euro? It hasgreen paint on it or something like that?

What I have learned is that compression is the key to Don's heart. Show him anything below 9:1 and he shuts down. :D

BTW - If anyone does want a 635csi with a full fender, M90 (200K) and a dogleg - see below. This one was $700 six months ago, now double. I'm not sure if the owner caught wind of what he has or if someone is attempting to flip. What I do know is that the pics are exactly the same. Although the parts are rough, you still have an e12 based e24. That gets you door pockets, arm rests, LSD, recaro seats (that fit without modification), window switchess, etc.
