This reminds me of the thread on BMW's marine engines from about a year ago:

My dad found a complete -84 Marine M30 engine (also called B220) for cheap, so took it home to see if there was any good parts on it, and it has a great -84 head with deep dimples and hole for the fuelpump and some other small bits. But what I wanted to share is a nice feature on these B220's...

Yeah. From many different BMW models 2000cs/c looks the closest to the boat, also including interior.

Next in a row could be BMW 700 which looks somehow close to Amphicar




and some looks like whale:
