Looks like someone liked US muscle cars. ;-)

Additional vents are only for look as there is no opening to engine bay (good water will not be dripping on the engine directly).

Think e12s fold down over the fender. This has the two latches to lock the bonnet that you see on the E9s.

yes and when i now look at the underside, i see the hole that was cutout in the bottom.

It was taken from E9 as looking on the shape near the wiper arms.
But also the seller is offering other parts in the same color from E9.
