No notification for "@ Luis A."

I do not get notified when someone tags me as above, should I? I looked at my preferences and they are checked. What am I doing wrong? They're not in spam folder, BTW.

Oh man... yeah I see them on the bell now. I could’ve sworn an email came alerting of tags, just like when you are subscribed to a thread. Did it change at some point? Thanks.

I have the same two boxes checked for emails, but have never received one... something I haven't done in settings? I get PM's and notices at the bell...just no emails. I check in here so much that I haven't really paid attention to the preferences...

This is interesting. I do receive emails (and love it). Just in case I step away from the forum to get some work done, my inbox pulls me back.
