Looking for any recommendations on where to chemically strip (no sand or media blasting); repair very minor road rash and repaint (not powder coat) a set of Alpina rims. Prefer SF Bay Area.

An old body shop trick I learned:
Get good paint stripper.
Apply and let sit under plastic wrap for a couple hours.
When the paint is peeling away use thick rubber gloves and a red scotch pad.
Finally once everything is removed and your happy with your results, Wash down with hot soapy water. I always recommend just regular dawn dish soap.

Hey Chris... do you know of a brand or specific product that qualifies as "good paint stripper" - which includes the definition will not eat, craze, or do bad things to my rims? ;)
