Some photos from this morning's local BMW club organized show at the Issaquah Triple X Root Beer Drive-in. There were six coupes in attendance (two I had never seen before).

I believe only the Baikal coupe still has its original engine. A couple of photos show the engine bay of one of the Polaris coupes (with the rear wing). Reportedly makes 325 hp with lots of custom fabricated parts (intake pieces, radiator, wings, etc.).

The Nachtblau coupe is nearing the final phases of its restoration. It is looking great. Nice job Bill.

Enjoy.

The engine bay photos

Engine bay photos from Polaris coupe. Oh, I just remembered one of the other custom touches: leather wrapped roll cage.

Thanks Sven

It was nice to see a good representation from our local E9 community. I hope we can get a big showing at the end of July event. Mine will be completely finished by then. Well, as finished as they ever are.
