@Gerrit, out of curiosity; what's the tell tale for the door switch to see if it is original?

I will check mine vs your answer, and if mine are not right, then I'm interested.

I always thought the switches were identical; trunk, hood and the 2 door switches.
(The handbrake one is different I believe)

the correct door switch has a longer black stalk (about 20mm). the ones that BMW sold in recent years were about 12mm.

That is all correct, also the shape of the stalk is different nowadays.
