That is very cool! Wish we could get the VIN for that and the agave green one that allegedly Jerry Garcia owned. Can you confirm the rumor?
 
Been a Grateful Dead fan for many years, I meet Jerry in that coupe in San Rafael Ca. He let me "check it out" ... And told me to come to there New Years Eve gig in Oakland , back stage passes.
What a long strange trip it was.
I saw Bob Weir a few night back at his place , the Sweatwater music hall in Mill valley. Life is good
Maybe that is why I have a Coupe

as did harry the sound man i sold that for him yrs ago.
MOUNTAIN was always nice and very kind
 
Thanks for sharing you guys. I went to Cal for 6 years and spent a lot time over there fishing and riding on Mt. Tam. Never did see Jerry or Bob's coupe, but I loved that drive out to Lake Lagunitas in my roadster.

aaah, but the court of public opinion lives on and on and on. just think if you spoke about a tawdry relationship prior to your wife with two or three women at one time ... but never told her about it ... and she found out about it reading on this forum ... how well would that go over?

that's like a reporter asking Earl K. Long if he would be re-elected as governor of louisiana. his response was - absolutely, unless i am caught in bed with a dead woman or a live boy.
 
Super video, Probably one of the most to-the-point versions of why the Dead were so popular and it was interesting to know how involved Bob was with football, should endear him to my son! Thanks for posting!
 
I messaged trixie, Jerry's daughter on FB and asked her for the VIN a while ago, she didn't tell me it, but she did say if she needed any help she would contact me!
 
We should try to get her to join us at the August 2016 event, maybe we could get the "Garcia e9's" there :-). And for any of us that have trouble along the way maybe the band could do a special version of "Goin' down the road feelin' bad" :-)
