I used to own a Jag coupe (76 black XJ12c; also w/a chevy lump). Really liked it, but thought these things would never go up in value much. Sadly sold it for a paltry $6700 five years ago.

It seems like this sale and the last were from the same seller: wob. Is this an individual or a dealer? I have not mined the comments which may reveal the answer.

My aunt and uncle had one in the late 80s, triple black - it was pretty! He always thought it would someday it be worth a fortune. Sadly, he passed a couple of years ago. He would have got a big kick out of this sale.

From what I have heard, Wob has a facility that stores high-end cars for wealthy types so is connected with a lot of wealthy collectors. Makes good sense to get his dealers license and leverage his own clientele. I believe he charges 10%...
