If you are going to Bimmerfest early on Sat. am wave as you go by.

The Cars and Coffee group is caravaning up 405 early on saturday. Including:
Rakestraw
Cain
Sterbens
Wong

Tom and I will be towing the 3002 TTiL at about 65 mph. Joun us at these spots:

Starbucks in costa mesa 5:40 am 17th and Newport Blvd.
Beach blvd offramp 5:55 am (Ray) (and Andy?)
UCLA offramp at Sunset Blvd 7:00 am (est.) to pick up Dominic Herrera's in his Tii
Earl Warren Fairgrounds at ~8:30 am

Decoupe,
It is legal. The major issue is selecting a chassis/vin that is before 1976. Vehicles registered in California in 1975 or before do not have to pass tailpipe or visual polution control device inspections. It is registered simply as a pre-75 bmw 2002. Then you get a saw, a drill and some sheetmetal..., an ebay acccount,....
