I have the same style knob and all you have todo is drill a hole foe a screw to hold it on.

Do you know where is located trip reset knob I have 3 E9 and I don't see anywhere such a knob, the cable is in the back but non of my car have that knob I sold 2 E9 and I have the 3rd one and I better install it.
