Drivers!
Ok, a lot of rain this off season which has pushed back our drive event schedule a bit, but to make up for lost time we'll have TWO events over the same weekend at the end of March! So, check the fan belts and get the kinks out of the hoses in the next couple of weeks! Here's the schedule:
Saturday March 27th, 9AM - Mullholand Drive/Bavarian Workshop Open House
We'll meet at PCH & Sunset and take a similar route as last years Mulholland/Malibu drive, but this year we'll turn north on Decker Canyon (CA 23), head east on Agoura Rd and end up at Bavarian Workshop in West Hills. Marc Norris at BW has been generous enough to open his shop up on Saturday so you can get to see the high level of service and work he iand his staff provide, and we'll have a fun little BBQ there as well. For those that are unfamiliar with Marc and Bavarian Workshop, here's a link - http://www.bavarianworkshop.com. Marc has been providing exceptional service for over 30 years, and he is highly regarded by all of his clients.
Sunday March 28th - Vintage Accessory Fest - Pacific BMW, Glendale CA 9:30AM
Our newest sponsor, Pacific BMW in Glendale, has asked SoCal Vintage BMW to participate in their Vintage Accessory Fest. There will be a lot of cars and free lunch (In & Out Burgers), but more importantly, anyone coming to the event will be able to get 30% off on Parts - which is about dealer cost! All you would need to do is get on Facebook and become a friend or fan of Pacific BMW Parts (I know, a pain, but it is a big discount - more info below) We will be assembling near the Pacific BMW dealership at 9:30-10 and geting staged nto the event as a group, and we'll have some cars representing a cross section of SoCal Vintage BMW parked in a specially designated area.
Since we are guests at both locales, we will need reliable head counts at the earliest convenience. Everyone is welcometo either or both events, but please do not RSVP unless you are certain of coming. More info will be forthcoming at SoCalVintageBMW.com
