I have a 1973 3.0CS the factory seats aren’t that great for spirited driving. I would really like to install a set of Recaros. I know that Recaros from an E21 are to narrow so what does one do about seat tracks.

Thanks in advance, Doug

I'm not sure what you mean about E21 Recaros being too narrow. They will bolt in to E9s if you use the "C" section adaptors from the E21. This assumes that you fit the seats!

Seat Tracks

I used a solid aluminum bar on each side of the seat, approx 3/16"x3"x14", that bolts down to the existing seat adjuster rails on the outside, and up to the Recaro seats on the inside.

This is actually a better solution than the E21 part I mentioned, as this way the seats are mounted about an inch lower in the car.
