oil cannister

Is there a spring and washer that is supposed to be in the canister.
Pic or diagram? I would think it would be, spring 1st, then washer, then filter.

I have the top bolt style.
Couldn't figure out correct words to use for the search.
O pressure is fine and always has been, but seems I have heard this before, and since I am performing oil change.........

That's for bottom bolt, his is later style top bolt.
