Can someone tell me what combination of oil pumps or what pump I can use on a 1966 BMW 2000cs . The pump that was there did not have an oil pressure tube connecting to the block . The only pumps I see around seem to use the pressure tube. Can I use the tube on my engine with a diffrent pump. My engine has been completly rebuilt and my old pump is very worn. I need to install a new pump but can not locate the same model that was in the car. Thanks in advance

Yes I have that pump but my engine originally did not have the oil pressure tube that this pump has. Where the tube would go on my engine is a tapped plug. I need to but the pressure tube comming from the pump my question is will it fit the tapped hole and will I get oil pressure since the car was not designed with the tube. The pump that was in the car just had a plug near the relief valve not the long curved tube. Thanks for the reply I hope I can get this worked out the wife is going crazy the engine is on the dining room floor.
