OIL Pump

Can I use the newer style oil pump ( front pump section ) with the rest of the body of the old pump as the new pump interferes with the pan installation. What are the other options? I have access to a 535 E12 oil pan will that work with the front cross member?

The height is wrong on the back portion
The pickup can is good but not the rest of the back portion.
You can combine new front with old back(rear) part.
