Oil Service Sticker

The oil stickers are the ones most usually wrong. Here is Chuck's original 73, should be same as 72 and 74, I don't have any others. Note the 6000km, there are others which are not correct.



I believe size is 126mm wide and 98mm tall.

Please post a pic and/or confirm size.

I have this file ready to go but you are right, there are other types including 3000KM and 7500KM which are not correct. Those are for 2002 and 2002 turbo only.

Oil sticker is approx 118mm width x 107mm height. Possible 1mm shrinkage from age/heat. June 1972 build date.

Yours is same as 70 2800 and 70/71 2800CS.

I have no absolute knowledge of the car before I got it, but most of the stickers and other wear items like seals all look like they have shrunk back a mm or so. It sure would be strange for the original owner to replace the stickers at 19k miles before putting in a container. The engine bay was dusty when I got it and under hood insulation definitely original. Would turn to dust if I touched it. So that’s all I replaced.

Your 72 is different (and same as earlier e3 and e9) from both 73 stickers, that confirms for me that we have both versions.
