Hi Drew,
Susan wants to know how long you'll be gone.
Funny, she is always asking me how long you will be gone.
Thanks to all for your generous and kind comments. I wish I could be spending more time in the garage working on the 4 projects I have at the moment but training is keeping me busy right up to the end before launch in March.
This forum continues to be a source of inspiration and information and I really enjoy visiting when I need a break from "how to fly a Soyuz Spacecraft" classes...in Russian!
I hope the folks on this forum will follow our mission on the International Space Station. I know space operations are not necessarily of interest to all but I hope to win some supporters of what we do up there. If all goes well...you may just see the marque represented from time to time...and I will try to have some pics from space posted directly to the site (with the help of a few folks here) if that is ok with everybody.
As always, our daily work will show up on NASA TV (live internet streaming) if you care to stop by the website from time to time and I will also continue to post on Instagram and Twitter at Astro_Feustel.
For those interested, liftoff is scheduled for March 15, 2018 and NASA will live stream the launch from Baikonur, Kazakhstan.
Cheers,
Drew
Very cool! You wouldn't happen to know Kjell, would you? He was up there last year, I believe. We went to high school together, really great guy. I imagine you guys are a small group...![]()
Drew- our thoughts are with you.
What day do you land?
