Not needing a front plate here in Louisiana, I am considering a custom German (ouch - vanity?) plate to cover bumper holes from PO's license plate. Please recommend an option:

Option 1: DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!

Option 2:

Option 3:

Option 4:

ok, yes i would do it, i think that your coupe deserves a front plate, just like mine

i agree that in the case of duane is not needed, but it is a different looking car

and if you havethoseholes, i understand that you want to coverthem

for me option number 3, because is evident that it is a 3.0 cs, but e9 is not so evidentfor someone that is not a conoisseur

regards

Front plates--go naked

Here in the Socialist State of California front plates are required--for the benefit of law enforcement--BUT--for 39+ years BLUMAX has gone buff--was stopped once for nakedness about 30 or so years ago--just a "fix it ticket"--get a front plate hung on and get it written off--and then promptly remove same.

It doens't matter if bumperless or not--the clean look is best. If holes bother you--get some chrome plugs to snap in those holes to no longer be noticeable. JMHO

In case someone is in need due "big brothers" heavy hand--I have a factory front license plate bracket for US plates available--barely used for cheap.

Steve,

I like Options 2 and 4, leaning towards 4. I have been considering this too ever since David researched the proper stickers. My bumper is currently naked. You are always advising others to do what makes you happy, the same applies to you!

I like Murray's idea of plugging the holes, and with my driving lights the front may look too busy. Thanks for your input, for now the old girl will run naked in front.

something like this ?

i insist on a front license plate, i know, i know it is not a free decission, i am obligued to,... but anyway i think in my case the look is pretty (they are the old style spanish license plates white with thin black numbers and letters, (similar to the old style license plates in all europe) the new ones in europe need a lateral blue band with an "E" letter, that is horrible

steve, if you intend to put a pair of chrome bolts, i warn you that they might be difficult to find, i did the same in my central front bumper to close the holes for the front lights:

German plates always start with the city code, and then have numbers or letters following. There is no city code "CS" assigned. You could have the combination CS 30 72. You can buy German license plates with any combination you want, so you could actually order a real plate.
