I'd be foolish not to buy the car then. :D E24's don't suffer the same fate, but yeah I agree about the pics. The interior is likely shot, the Recaro bolsters don't hold up like comfort seats. I'd love to have an S38 under the hood, but probably not a hand-me-down with questionable history.

This car looks an awful lot like a red M6 that I pass on my way to work. It was there this morning, but I'll take a second look tomorrow. I'm not sure how stupid one would need to be to sell a stolen car on CL the same day of the theft.

That's a Copart yard so I'm guessing the person that posted the cl ad was phishing, or posting a price for a car he hadn't purchased yet. No risk in doing that... all they have to do is delete the ad and move on to the next car.

Perhaps selling the M6 for a bicycle...it's the right thing to do in Portland isn't it?
