Original orange partsbooks on ebay kleinanzeigen, asking 380 euro.
From 1975, so it will have also updates along our production years.
I have a set and use them regularly. Quite handy as they are A5 sized.
( I think these were later replaced by the blue books, with basically same content?)

Believe Blue ring binders came first, then Orange books, then Silver covers (1980 or so?) then Microfiche (with white ring binder paper reprint available from BMW)
The orange books will show things unavailable in electronic versions so highly recommended
 
my orange books are dated 4/75 and are equivalent to microfiche #4. my blue books are from a similar period as they include the Bat 1 + 2
 
Recall that blue books (parts and repair) received periodic updating; private purchasers got whatever was out at time of purchase and no supplements.
My e9 orange books are same version as yours; my e3 books are 5/78 - microfiche 16 according to first page.
Anyone have newer versions?
My 1958 & 1963 blue books came in small page format...but then again only 7-digit part numbers back then.
