what manufacturer made the original CS keys? anyone have a source besides waiting for the dealer?

There's usually a few people that can make Pebra keys on ebay.

I walked into Santa Monica Lock with my only set and walked out with a perfect set of spares 10 minutes later- they had the Pebra blanks also.

I got mine made at a highend locksmith here in portland...

Atlasta locksmith. They even had some blanks. You might call around to high end shops in a fairly big town....
