I’ve had this a little while, but don’t think I have shared on this forum yet. The story behind how I got it is almost as fun as the poster. This is an original Alpina e9 CS Group 2 dealer poster board display from the ‘70’s. I saw an ad on eBay for some vintage BMW brochures and saw that the location was close by. To make a long story short I went to visit the seller and he is an older gentleman from France that traveled for his job back in the 60’s and 70’s and everywhere he went in Europe he picked up brochures. He had probably 4,000-5,000 brochures in his house and his walls were covered top to bottom with posters and thousands of beer steins. It was a hoarders paradise. Very nice man that was selling his collection off little by little to pay medical bills. He also is holding a Bavaria poster for me. Also, for a good laugh look real close at the “driver” in the picture. If anyone has any info on this display or the #10 Alpina CS group 2 car (I have seen the #14 car) I’d love to know more about them! I had the poster framed with UV protectant glass and hung in my sons room. Enjoy! John
