All,
OK this is a strange one for sports car enthusiasts. I’m just wondering if there was an OEM trailer hitch for the E9 and this is certainly the place to ask. If so, where might one be acquired?

There was an OEM hitch for the CSs. Here's the parts diagram. They aren't available anymore of course but a company in England called Watling Engineering used to make them. I have one of the last they made if you are interested. It fits every model before 1974.

Could you give me a ring about this? 210-710-6795.

back in the day, people used regular cars for everything. Including two-door cars to haul the family around, pull stuff, haul junk.

Now, everyone has to have a huge SUV for getting toilet paper at costco.

i think a trailer hitch on a coupe would be great to tow around a sleek sailboat - like a flying dutchman, a 505 or a 470 ...
