i think the original wheels look sooooo good (perhaps the best) on the atlantik / nacht blue coupes. you have done very well with this 2800cs ... so much improvement to when i first saw it at EuroFed in Chamblee.

Thanks, when I made the offer to buy it and it was accepted, my first thought was "damn it".
Now that it is mostly completed, I am glad we bought it.

Love the wheels too, did you know that the company that made those wheels (Cromadora) made the same wheels for FERRARI? look at the Dino model and you'll see what i mean. I for one prefer those on my E9 than any other model out there.

The early E9 stock wheels look similar to the Chromodora wheels on the Dino, but they are made by FPS (some by Mahle) not Chromodora.
 
Thanks, I also like the original style wheels but do wish they were 16s.
