Overflow Cap

I have had the Cap on the left for many years and it gave up on me the last few times out. Collant got by and came out of the overflow. I picked up the other one today and it has a collar on it that fits into the tank.
Question is , is it the correct Cap?

Any remarks will be retained

Not seen that collar, does it fit? If yes then use it.

Well, I went for a short drive in 90 deg heat and all is good.

Those work just fine. It’s a Reutter.
