Painting a 3.0 CS

I would like to know the price range to have a 3.0 CS painted? I realize the are various ways in which to have the car painted-e.g. take the body off, remove doors, sand to the metal, etc.

Also, I am sure it depends on the number of coats of paint. I would like to hear from those who have had a 3.0 CS painted.
 
I'm in the final stages of having mine done after an 80% resto. Paint starts at 100 for a Maaco special (really, really bad) up to 30k+ for really exotic paints and an excellent painter.
