Hi guys! Anybody know of a quick fix for an ATF leak from what appears to be the bottom of the pan? Is there a part number for this gasket by any chance? Thanks in advance!! John

Don't think there's any quick fix to that, but removing the pan isn't such a big project if you can get the car up on a lift.
I recently replaced the gasket on our BW automatic gearbox (as you have). 24111203500 is the part# and BMW has it.
What I think was the original gasket that I removed was made out of cork, the new one I got from BMW was made out of really stiff "modern" green gasket material and it did not seal the pan, I had to remove it again, clean it, use RTV on both sides of the new gasket...

So, I would buy some cork material and make my own gasket if I ever do it again.
When you have the pan down, check the metal filter and clean if necessary.
If the kick-down wire shows any wear, now might be the time to replace it, BMW got that one as well.

for what its worth, the same trans was used in a bunch of other cars so if you don't like the BMW one, just google the gasket itself

Thank you both! The car this is for is on BringATrailer and I am on the other side of the country currently. I would have swapped it back when I was in California, but now I just am going to disclose it and be transparent. It isn't a bad leak and hopefully won't be a deal breaker!
