Part number needed please.

Could someone point me to the part number of the later type oil filter housing that bolts from the top as opposed to the one I have that bolts up from the bottom .

Car is rhd if that makes a difference. I think part no 114 217 165 84 looks like it will work but would like confirmation .

I am assuming there is no option for a screw type oil filter upgrade.

Yes, it is the top bolt version. You need the assembly, meaning the bolt and can. it shows as applicable for RHD as well. For reference, you can cross check a part on Realoem.com. A used part is your best bet.

There are spin on adapters are available. Ireland Engineering sell one for approximately $100 USD. There must be others who do so as well.
