Hi again:
Need help in locating a windshield motor for a 67 2000CS. I have one that must have been submerged in water and is very rusty.
I also am having trouble finding the two universal joints needed on the driveshaft. All I know is they have a 22mm cap and 60mm????.
I also have many spare parts, mostly body panels, and also a complete parts car I am starting to cut up.
I know it's a 2000CS 4 banger that you guys have no interest in,however after putting nearly $20Gs in it and still not finished I can't sell it to get into a more sought after 3.0 with those funny headlights and bumpers that are an eye sore. Just kidding guys!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Take your driveshaft to a rebuiding specialist, he can replace the u-joints. Some are pinned in and you won't be able to replace yourself unless they have circlips. Still a tough job, let an expert do it.

Harry,
I can't help you with parts but personally, I have come to appreciate and even admire the nose on the 2000CS. And, because the Bean Counters were already rearing their low rent heads in the late 60's at BMW we 3 liter volk were stiffed out of one of the most beautiful dashes and door panels BMW ever built.

I don't take my CSi to Driver's Schools anymore, so if something happened to my beloved I would seriously consider a pristine 2000CS. The 4 banger engine compartment is also classier and less cluttered.

Hi Steve:
Thanks for the nice words about the 2000CS. I feel the same way about the styling of the 2000CS as you do.
They say GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE.
Thanks Again.
